Description

Like your honey light? With its silky texture, clear, straw-coloured hue and mild floral taste, Acacia is one of the world’s finest varieties. Ours is made from the nectar of black locust trees, which blanket the hillsides of central Moldova. From May onwards, their pale flowers burst into bloom, filling the air with soft sweetness.

Thousands years of good

Rich in vitamins B+, C and A, as well as antioxidants and flavonoids, Acacia is known to help improve digestive and liver functions. It’s also thought to contribute to increased blood haemoglobin, detoxifying the liver and maintaining a healthy heart. And it’s used to help regulate sleep.

Crystallisation

With a high fructose content, Acacia honey rarely crystallises.

Pairing

Acacia’s delicate taste means it doesn’t overpower other flavours, so it’s perfect drizzled over yoghurt, cereal or ice cream. It goes well with firm, salty cheeses like pecorino, or over a thick layer of butter on crusty bread. And it’s a good natural sweetener in tea and coffee.

A journey in every jar
